ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Oversee the Service Depot Department and Staff in providing customers with highest quality of care and attention in all areas including installation and ongoing operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Oversee the day to day Service Depot Activities 
  • Oversee and coordinate the Service Hot Swap replacement and Readiness process
  • Support and respond to internal and external customer part order questions
  • Communicate directly with HQ to improve backorder parts turnaround time and needs
  • Manage and oversee back-ordered parts status and report to the appropriate group
  • Adhere to guidance from HQ for all parts orders
  • Communicate directly with HQ to support customer and business needs
  • Track in/out of material, report on status, and ready material for shipment 
  • Oversee digital detector repairs to ensure process is being followed
  • Management of Consignment and FSL Stock in conjunction with Field Service Team
  • Back-up Depot Service Support 
  • Back-up Phone support for CSR
  • Oversee readiness of DEMO equipment that is routed through the Service Depot for update, maintenance and repair
  • Work independently and in team environment, both intra and interdepartmentally
  • Implement and Management of CAPAs
  • Maintain and schedule equipment calibration
  • Maintain and schedule equipment Preventative Maintenance inspections
  • Special projects and trainings as needed
  • Required to wear dosimeter when in direct contact with radiation emitting devices
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degrees or equivalent experience preferred 
  • Comprehensive understanding of Depot Service Business, 1 year experience
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel
  • Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management and customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Customer focused with exceptional problem solving skills
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • You must be excellent with technology, and be able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint; as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time 
  • Interaction with x-ray devices; for this reason strict safety and tracking programs are in place, requiring the utilization of dose monitoring equipment either full time or as necessitated by situation
  • The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
