Boston Consulting Group is Hiring a Working Student –Corporate Finance and M&A Near Munich, ND
We are seeking a strong candidate to join BCG’s Transactions & Integrations practice team in Munich. You will have the chance to work closely with our analysts and experts on a day-to-day basis and you will get the chance to take responsibility for driving your own ideas.
You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 to max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.
Supporting our business development efforts and internal projects
Monitoring European-wide deal activity to keep us in the know on deal opportunities
Performing research tasks – from financial and deal databases to company research
Supporting our analyst team with financial analysis and financial modelling tasks
Organizational tasks: Supporting the team in organizing events and meetings, etc.
Ongoing Bachelor’s or Master’s studies with high academic achievements (business administration, financial mathematics, economics, or similar)
Interest in corporate finance, M&A, post-merger integration and strategy topics
Preferably previous experience in our field (corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or similar) as an intern or working student
Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities; first experience with financial and/or deal databases is a plus
Creative, yet structured problem solver and autonomous self-starter with strong analytical skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality
