Boston Consulting Group is Hiring a Brand Position & Strategic Communications Senior Manager, Australia & New Zealand Near Sydney, FL
Reporting to the Marketing and Business Operations Senior Director and Marketing Partner (Managing Director and Partner cohort), the Brand Position & Strategic Communications Senior Manager, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is responsible for:
Building and managing BCG’s brand and reputation in ANZ through events, media, and digital marketing
Supporting the business to build relationships and engage with key senior external stakeholders, including alumni
Developing and executing brand and marketing strategies, and operationalising annual plans for maximum impact in a B2B context
Mobilising and influencing individuals and teams to support marketing, relationship and brand building activities
Building strong and trusted relationships at all levels and demonstrating the commercial value and impact of communications and marketing activities
Managing and cultivating a high-performance team. You have excellent people management skills with the ability to provide constructive and honest feedback and support the individual development of employees’ capabilities; ability to resolve problems that affect performance
Experience leading / as a senior leader within a marketing function in a similar sized organisation; previous experience in a Professional Services firm or similar complex matrix structured organization is advantageous
Management level experience executing multichannel brand, communications and marketing strategies
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; clarity, tact, professionalism and consensus building skills – in writing, speaking and presentation form; able to persuade, influence, negotiate
Self-starter; you have a willingness to 'drive' the marketing strategy and own the function
Growth mindset and ability to drive continuous improvement in ways of working
Strong track record in engaging senior stakeholders, with an ability to effectively persuade, influence, and negotiate as appropriate
Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with excellent project management skills
Demonstrated ability to plan workflow, work independently, and take initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; comfortable adapting to new IT systems / tools
