Position: Process Engineer – Grinder Technology and AutomationReports to: Engineering ManagerPosition Summary:The Process Engineer will focus on the automation and improvement in Grinder technology.Qualifications / Requirements:

Strong oral and written skills in the English language
Technical Math background (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry)
Must possess the desire and ability to be certified to Level II or higher NDT UT, ET certification
Functional knowledge of MS Office applications
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Engineering degree highly preferred.

Essential Functions:

In House Certification on Centerless Grinder
Evaluate and justify NC grinding technology
Develop Legacy Equipment upgrades to include:
- Retro fit online gaging
- Online compensation
- Auto loading/unloading
- Auto Set-up
- Auto alignment
Grinding wheel evaluation
New alloy grinding processes
Coolant delivery and Ventilation Improvements
Develop associated documentation
Support training and onboarding for multiple manufacturing locations.
Willingness to travel between facilities 4-6 time per year within continental US
Additional responsibilities as required to support growth
