Position: Process Engineer – Grinder Technology and AutomationReports to: Engineering ManagerPosition Summary:The Process Engineer will focus on the installation and implementation of the Coil to Bar straighten and cut machine.Qualifications / Requirements:

Strong oral and written skills in the English language
Technical Math background (Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry)
Must possess the desire and ability to be certified to Level II or higher NDT UT, ET certification
Functional knowledge of MS Office applications
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Engineering degree highly preferred.

Essential Functions:

- Install and Startup of Coil to Bar Straighten and Cut
  - Development of training and operational documentation
  - Develop process controls
  - Develop diameter and alloy specific setup parameters
- Familiarity with destructive and non-destructive testing and equipment
  - Intron Tensile and Elongation
  - Hardness and Micro-hardness
  - Non-destructive UT and Eddy Current Testing
  - Pursue and maintain Nadcap Certification
  - Development of training and operational documentation
  - Develop process controls
  - Work with a coordinator with QA Department to manage third party testing requirements.
- Characterize specific alloys and develop high quality process parameters
  - Straightness
  - Die type
  - Lubricants
- Coordinate with Material group on Vertical Integration products
- Additional responsibilities as required to support growth
