Join our Outrageously Dependable team! We are hiring an energetic, reliable, results-driven individual to fill the role of Delivery Driver in Milford, MA. The expected hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3 pm.

About the position

Our Delivery Drivers are primarily responsible for safely delivering batteries to customers by following the assigned route. The Driver is responsible for providing exceptional service and building professional relationships with each customer, at each stop.

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely deliver batteries as assigned by our dispatch every day
  • Develop relationships and handle customer issues in a courteous, prompt manner in order to maintain a loyal partnership with all customers
  • Hold yourself accountable to achieve company and individual goals
  • In conjunction with the office, ensure customer balances are current; assist in collection of past due account amounts
  • Perform physical workload (driving 8-10 hour per day with 20 stops, lifting and delivering multiple batteries at each stop) throughout the day while still maintaining a positive attitude and a strong attention to detail
  • Learn the company policies and procedures and work within them, whether you are in the office, at the warehouse or delivering product to our customer
  • Live one of our core values of being Outrageously Dependable by building strong relationships with your customers in a fast-paced, constantly moving environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (5 years)
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one prior to beginning employment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift 25-70 pounds, on a regular basis
  • Ability to use multiple technologies (computers, telephones, smartphones, etc.)
  • Must be able to wear required PPE
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug screen
