Friendly family in Boxboro/Lunenberg is looking for a fun-loving and compassionate part time Nanny for their 15-year-old daughter with Rett Syndrome. The family has a 12-year-old son who will require limited care. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, cpr & first aid certified and have a minimum of 3 years professional experience. Responsibilities will focus on all daily activities including showering, toileting, dressing, G-tube feeding etc. Training will be provided! Candidates who have experience working as PCA's or nurses are encouraged to apply. In addition, the nanny will help with household tasks including laundry, loading/emptying the dishwasher, light tidying etc. Mom will be home during the day so candidates must be comfortable working alongside parents. The family is in the process of a home renovation and will be spending the Summer in Lunenberg. The nanny will help drive between Boxboro and Lunenberg for school pick up, so a clean driving record and valid ID are required. There is a wheelchair accessible vehicle the nanny will drive, and the family will provide mileage reimbursement. The family is looking for a nanny who is proactive, punctual, joyful and who will bring a positive approach to each day. No heavy lifting is required however candidates should be physically capable to help support with standing and moving. There is one very sweet golden retriever in the home so candidates should be comfortable with pets. Summer Schedule: M-F 2:30pm-7:30pm. Starting in September: M/T/Th/Fr 3:30pm-7:30pm, W: 1:30pm-5:30pm (end times are flexible) Rate: $32-$37/BOE. Benefits: 2 weeks' paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, paid holidays. Start: ASAP
