Job Title: Material Handler (MMMOP)
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Area Warehouse Supervisor
Summary
Manually move freight, stock, or other materials. Some of these workers feed or remove material to or from machines, clean vehicles, pick up unwanted household goods, and pack materials for moving.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
WHS Staff/Material Handler
Pick-Put away Operator -
Hand Pack -
Forklift Operator -
·Recharge batteries and conducts pre-use safety audit using designated checklist.
Machine Operator –
·Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunction of machine.
·Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor and/or maintenance.
·Programs machine with packaging specification specific to each product/part.
·Inspects filled container to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
·Feeds product to conveyors and hoppers and unloads packaged product.
·Breakdown pallets.
·General housekeeping of warehouse & equipment.

Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees of the organization, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer/System Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Beginner knowledge of:
