Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryAs a Product Management-Director at Bosch Mobility Automotive Aftermarket Service Solution business unit, you will play a pivotal role in driving the global development and execution of our product strategy, covering both Original Equipment Service (OES) and Independent Aftermarket (IAM) sectors. You will lead a team of Product \Managers, collaborate cross-functionally, and leverage market insights to deliver competitive and customer-centric solutions in the automotive aftermarket sector
Primary ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy Development
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for special tools and equipment (focus on hardware and hydraulics, electronics where required, software and services and related infrastructure), and related services, tailored to meet the needs of both OES and IAM markets in the various global regions served by MA-AS
  • Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and prioritize initiatives for product development and enhancement across various market segments.
Team Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a global team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution of product development initiatives, meeting quality, timeline, and budgetary targets across different market channels
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to drive product innovation and go-to-market strategies, considering the unique requirements and preferences of OES, IAM.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across teams to ensure seamless product launches, effective marketing campaigns, and ongoing product support across diverse market channels.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, ensuring that product offerings are relevant, competitive, and compliant with industry standards and regulations across different market segments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data, and iterate on product features to optimize customer satisfaction, market share, and profitability in each market channel.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with key customers, partners, and industry influencers across OES, IAM, and vocational school channels to gather insights, validate product concepts, and build strategic relationships.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical support, and product feedback, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction across diverse market segments.
QualificationsQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on diagnostic and repair equipment, tools (hardware and software), and associated services in the automotive industry, covering both OES and IAM markets, as well as vocational school channels.
  • Proven track record of leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration across diverse market segments.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with a deep understanding of diagnostic and repair technologies, software development processes, and service delivery models across different market channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable product strategies and roadmaps for each market segment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders across various market channels.
  • Strategic mindset with a customer-centric approach to product development and business growth, adaptable to the unique needs and dynamics of OES, IAM
