**Company Description**
This group is working on ADAS functions for series projects. Examples include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and partially automated driving (e.g. Highway-Assist).
**Job Description**
We are looking for a proactive experienced engineer to further develop our CI/Cx infrastructure. As a CI/Cx-focused Software Development Engineer you will create and maintain software scripts and test benches for automation of integration and smoke tests to aid in the development of the latest generation of driver assistance technology. You will support a team to serve a wide range of projects in the fields of radar, video and central control devices for OEMs around the globe, which makes for exciting and fast-pace work.
* You will work in an international team on the automation of software and integration tests in order to enable the project in the DevOps sense for continuous integration, testing and deployment.
* You will interface between the software and the target hardware (radar, video ECU or central control unit) in order to automatically check with every software change whether the change also works as desired on the target hardware.
* On the software side, you will write scripts (e.g. Python or CAPL) for test automation and communication with the hardware (e.g. via Lauterbach debugger, vector boxes) and expand Jenkins pipelines for automatic execution in the event of software changes.
**Qualifications**
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline with a strong software focus.
* 3 of scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Yaml) to automate tests or write pipelines in Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
* 3 years of experience in tools such as containers (Docker), package managers (Conan), GitHub Features.
* 3 years of CI/Cx experience and motivated to keep with that latest market trends.
* Understanding of the DevOps principles (see DevOps hand book, Accelerate)
* Enjoy challenging work and have the ability to work independently in a structured manner.
* Able to work in an international environment and communicate effective across cultures and time zones
* Continuous improvement mindset.
* Experience in working with GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins, Jira Track and Release or similar tools.
* Some HW knowledge to build-up test benches (Vector tools, CAPL programming) and connect debuggers (e.g. Lauterbach) is desired.
