As a part of the global research organization, our AI research department in Silicon Valley focuses on Foundation Models, Big Data Visual Analytics, Explainable AI (XAI), Natural Language Processing, 3D Perception & Mixed Reality, Cloud Robotics, Data Science, AI Platform, and Time-series Analysis. We develop scalable, intelligent, and trustworthy AIoT solutions to enable inspiring UX for Bosch products and services in application areas such as automated driving, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), robotics, smart manufacturing, enterprise AI, health care, smart home and building solutions.

Our engineering team is looking for a talented full-stack software engineer who is passionate about building reliable and scalable web services and AI applications in the cloud. Your work will be used by researchers to bring new innovations to Bosch business units as well as the business units themselves to improve the quality and value of Bosch products.

Job Description

• Contribute to architecture and API design for new applications run on public cloud
• Collaborate with an international team of engineers and research scientists to deploy research prototypes into complex and mission critical production systems
• Communicate with customers within Bosch to identify requirements and translate them into work packages
• Develop, maintain, test, and document software tooling for AI and data analytics use cases
• Provide guidance to contract team of front-end engineers

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technical Field
• 3 years experience as a software engineer
• Back end experience in Python, Scala, or Go
• Front end experience in ReactJS or Angular
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred)
• REST API design
• Docker
• Kubernetes

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years experience as a full stack engineer
• Experience working in an Agile team
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems
• Databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB, Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL)
• Databricks
• FastAPI

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
