JOB POSTING: Building Dept. Clerical (Full-Time)

FULL-TIME BUILDING DEPT. CLERICAL – BERGENFIELD BOROUGH, BERGEN COUNTY

The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking a Full Time Clerical Staff Employee in the Building Department Code Enforcement Office. Position is the main point of contact with responsibilities to include: communication with residents, receiving, processing, and assisting in the issuance of Construction Permits, data entry, receipt of payments, scheduling of inspections and general clerical work. Candidate must possess strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Three (3) years of clerical experience in a Building Department and DCA Certificate preferred.
