Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to all food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions using a cash register or POS system
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages and bar supplies
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after service
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and regulations
- Proficiency in basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with operating a cash register or POS system
- Strong sales skills to upsell products and increase revenue
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Brewing knowledge is a plus
- Experience in banquet or food service settings is advantageous
