Team Member:

We are seeking a dependable and motivated full-time Medical Assistant (MA) with phlebotomy experience to join our clinical team. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide personal care to our patients. This role requires an individual with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, has multitasking skills, accuracy, and critical thinking ability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patient check-in: take vital signs, record chief complaint, update medication list, document in EHR, and room patient
• Venipuncture
• Prepare and administer injections
• Perform urinalysis
• In office procedures, including EKG, bone density, and more
• Charting and administrative duties
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and properly stocked
• Set up sterile trays
• Assist Providers in procedures
• Daily QC responsibilities
• Participation in a late-night rotation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification
• A minimum of one (1) year of Phlebotomy experience required
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant preferred
• Excellent clinical and computer skills with experience using an EHR system
• Strong customer service focus
• Ability to work independently while closely coordinating with Providers and clinical staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
