1 Production Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift Job in Ithaca, NY
BorgWarner is Hiring a Production Operators - 2nd & 3rd Shift Near Ithaca, NY
- Manufacturing and mechanical experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidates
- Experience working in an industrial environment is helpful
- These openings are for 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm – 7am), with occasional weekend openings
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively using oral and written methods, as well as understand written instructions
- Some computer proficiency is required for training and accessing/entering production information
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Adherence and commitment to all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures is critical
- Willingness to work as part of a cooperative team, as well as function independently
- Union facility with negotiated labor grades starting at $18.22 - $21.00/hr shift differentials
- Currently offering a hiring bonus of $1000, where you get the 1st $500 when you complete 6 months of employment and the 2nd $500 after 12 months of employment.
