Position: Quality Auditor Job Posting Number: Shift: A # of Openings: 1 Labor Grade: 7 Department Name: Quality This position will report to: Brandon Nobrega Position Requirements FUNCTION: The function of the quality auditor is to conduct product/EPC audits at production operations and on the shipping dock. DIMENSIONS: Equipment used: micrometers, calipers, spline gauge, other fixed gauges, etc., and forklift truck. NATURE AND SCOPE: The quality auditor will report to the Quality Engineer. The principal responsibility of the auditor is to conduct product/EPC audits at production operations and on the shipping dock in accordance with QS900 and TS16949 quality standards. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Work to the dock audit schedule utilizing process control plans, drawings, specifications, samples and visual aids to accomplish the following: Inspect various parts and assemblies visually, with fixed and adjustable gages, at production operations & on the shipping dock. Verify identification labels and remove old labels. Complete DMRs, the DMR log and the dock audit inspection results log. Communicate discrepancies and other information with personnel within and outside of department in a professional manner. Assist Supervisor with updating and maintaining manuals & documents. Retrieve drawings, work instructions, visual aids and other documents from eChange to assist with inspection. Perform process audits and complete necessary forms as required. Assist with gage recall and calibration. Complete EPC Summary inspection sheets and enter the data into the computer. Possess good communication and some computer skills. Complete an annual eye exam. Must adhere to QS9000/TS16949 requirements. Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other related duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. If an employee accepted a new position, they cannot bid on the same or lower paying labor grade for 1 year.
