ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests.
2. Offer sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options
3. Exhibition of strong attention to detail when performing pest detection and treatment procedures
4. Willingness to learn new extermination techniques and procedures bases on industry trends.
5. Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment and materials.
6. Maintain professional appearance including clean uniform, appropriate footwear and maintaining personal hygiene
7. Will handle the daily operations of pest control.
8. Working knowledge of the safe use of pesticides and equipment used to control pest to include, but not limited to roaches, bed bugs, flies, gnats, ants, rodents, larger mammals, drain files, lady bugs, bee, wasp, and hornets.
9. Must have excellent customer service skills.
10. Must be safety conscious.
11. Must be flexible with scheduling and work OT as needed.
12. Assist operations with duties that may not be listed on this job description.
13. Exhibit safe handling of all products used for this position,
14. Attends staff meetings as needed
15. Exhibits superb team leadership/development and collaborating ability while working with department team members and other staff.
16. Keep accurate records of inspections, complaints and how to issues are resolved.

EDUCATION: GED or high school diploma.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of two years in a pest control environment years.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Be able to obtain/maintain Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma gaming license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Pest control workers often kneel, bend, and crawl in tight spaces to inspect sites. Because there are health risks associated with pesticide use, workers are trained in pesticide safety and typically wear protective gear, which may include gloves, goggles, and respirators.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to work in fast paced environment and problem solving ability. Must be able to work independently.
