Operations Support Specialist, Mid

Key Role:

Perform a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties in support of the organization. Manage staffing and track internal and external suspense and correspondence with designated functional areas of the organization. Ensure implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and directives under the guidance of senior staff. Assist in the definition and documentation of processes into standard operating procedures or other written procedures. Assure integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks. Identify existing or potential problem areas within the area of operations and recommend corrective action. Advise and assist higher-level staff about assigned programs, briefing preparation, and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience with operations support

  • Experience with managing staffing and tracking internal or external suspense and correspondence with designated functional areas of the organization

  • Experience with project planning and management, including briefing preparation, risk management, program analysis, cost management, schedule, and performance of projects or programs

  • Experience with tracking and ensuring responses to all tasks are received across the organization

  • Experience with assisting in the definition and documentation of processes into standard operating procedures

  • Ability to ensure implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and directives under guidance of senior staff

  • Ability to identify existing or potential problem areas within the area of operations and recommends corrective action

  • Ability to collaborate internally and externally and provide advice and support to the organization leadership, staff, and program managers on any assigned programs or projects for stakeholder engagements, briefings, and reports

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to assist as an Operations Specialist performing a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties in support of the organization

  • Ability to provide operations support to DoD or PEO or PM organizations

  • Ability to receive direction, technical guidance, and leadership necessary to accomplish the mission

  • Ability to advise and assist higher-level staff pertaining to assigned program, briefing preparation, and objectives

  • Ability to assist in accomplishing detailed planning for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives

  • Ability to assure integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning on projects and tasks

  • Ability to work with various levels of technical and business-oriented team members

  • Ability to analyze issues and propose appropriate resolutions

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a sense of urgency

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
