Joint Mission Planning Integrator

The Opportunity:
As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive military knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex joint all-domain command and control (JADC2) problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe.

You’ll provide subject matter expertise in support of JADC2 and joint planning and joint staff problem sets. You’ll leverage your unique background to analyze our clients’ data requirements and operational workflows to translate mission needs into technical solutions. You’ll work with software developers, engineers, and other product owners to shape AI and data integrations for enabling JADC2 and joint fires. You’ll take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to support organizational goals and strategic investments in emerging AI technologies. You’ll use your expertise to aid in the design and development of scenarios for testing emerging technologies in a high-profile experimentation series. You’ll assist with the collection and analysis of metrics and lessons learned for informing experiment planning and delivery of JADC2 capabilities to the warfighter.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working in Joint Planning, Fires, Joint Fires, or Joint Fire Support Operations
• Experience as an action officer on a joint or service headquarters staff
• Experience working with Joint Fire Support and digital C2 systems, including JADOCS/JTIC2S, AFATDS, TBMCS, LFED/FOS, TAIS, TTWCS, CAC2S, AEGIS/VAWS, BC3, and IBCS
• Knowledge of the joint planning process and collaboration tools
• Knowledge of the joint targeting cycle, including deliberate and dynamic targeting processes
• Knowledge of tactical datalink (TDL) communications and multi-sensor data fusion and correlation
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL) applications
• Knowledge of data science and analytics concepts
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications

• Experience working in a military operations center, including JOC, MOC, AOC, or TOC
• Knowledge of national and tactical intelligence collection methods and intelligence analysis
• Knowledge of edge and cloud computing technologies
• Knowledge of Generative AI techniques, including large language models (LLM) or natural language processing (NLP)
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• AI or ML Certifications

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
