IT Network Specialist

Key Role:

Support the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and enhancements to production networks. Apply specific functional, working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience with IT systems, network management, or implementation provisioning for military systems

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

• Experience analyzing and summarizing data for presentation and communication with senior leaders

• Ability to perform hands-on management and support of IT infrastructure

• Top Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in the Navy or supporting Navy programs

• 3 years of experience in acquisition, Integration, or provisioning DoD Network services

• 1 years of experience managing, keying, and securing COMSEC materials

• Experience in provisioning commercial or military networking services and circuits

• Experience in Multi-Level Security architectures

• Experience in representing system architectures using Digital Engineering software and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts

• Knowledge of Navy C4I installation, procedures, and policies

• Knowledge of fiber optic communications systems

• Possession of excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to support working in a dynamic, diverse team environment within a US Navy program office

• Bachelor's degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
