Booz Allen is Hiring a Help Desk Analyst Near Silver Spring, MD

Help Desk Analyst

Key Role:

Provide information systems support for operations and maintenance of over 50 custom applications. Create and maintain standard operating procedures and contribute to the efficiency and improvement of the systems. Act as the conduit between a user group and an IT development team and perform as an advanced consultant with the capability to excel at client delivery, having developed expertise in a specific area. Exhibit developed relationships with clients, perform as a highly valued leader for sharing knowledge and giving trusted advice, and interact directly with senior-level clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1 years of experience with information technology or computer information systems

  • Experience in assisting with user complaints and issues to ensure accuracy for product delivery

  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PPT

  • Experience with ticketing systems, including ServiceNow, Jira and Salesforce

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
