Graphic Designer

Key Role:

Produce graphic designs, using a variety of techniques and software, for both print and electronic communications, such as promotions, advertisements, and instructional materials, distributed through a variety of media outlets. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience with graphic design projects

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout

• Ability to be a detail oriented self-starter

• Ability to handle multiple projects at once

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with developing logos and visual identities

• Experience with infographics and data visualization

• Experience with print production and working with print vendors

• Experience using USDWS

• Experience working in fast-paced environments

• Experience working within Agile environments

• Experience with AR/VR applications

• Experience with motion graphics, 2D Animation, and 3D modeling

• Experience with production with graphic design or illustration

• Knowledge of current design trends in web and mobile technologies

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
