Automated Tester

The Opportunity:

When a user tries new software, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly. Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to successful software development—and that means rigorous testing. That’s why we need you, a knowledgeable test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.

As an Automated Tester, you will work with testers, developers, and engineers to create testing scripts that enable the deployment of software solutions developed for the Intelligence Community. Using automated processes, you’ll create and execute testing scripts, generate data, and execute test cases to validate software performance, document results, and communicate defects to appropriate stakeholders. Additional tasks include automating continuous security and performance testing to monitor the health of developed systems.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 3 years of experience in software development and testing

  • Experience in computer science or information technology

  • Experience in software quality and testing methodologies

  • Experience in test automation tools

  • Experience with Java, C, Ruby, or Python

  • Experience in designing and building automated test frameworks and test suites to use in development and testing cycles

  • Experience in designing and implementing test cases, running cases on distributed systems, and reporting on quality

  • Experience with Selenium and Xpath expressions

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with AWS Cloud services

  • Experience with participating in design and code reviews

  • Experience with Linux or Unix server-class operating systems

  • Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
