Job Number: R0196111 Software Reverse Engineering Analyst, Mid
Key Role: Work as part of a diverse contract team supporting a DoD client. Apply the expertise required to perform in-depth te chn ical evaluations of foreign computer and network te chn ologies through the analysis and identification of sof tware capabilities and vulnerabilities of specified non-US warfighting subsystems, using sof tware program code disa ssembly and reverse engineering. Author concise Scientific and Te chn ical Intelligence ( S & TI ) assessments in conformance with the intelligence community ( IC ) analytic standards that convey the results of that analysis to the client's DoD and IC partners and clients. Apply your working knowledge of the cyber-kill chain and offensive te chn iques to identify and describe potential cybersecurity issues. Provide te chn ical intelligence analysis of weapon systems and C4 networks, including analyzing printed circuit boards, hardware devices, including microprocessors, digital signal processors ( DSP ) , and field programmable gate arrays ( FPGAs ) design, extraction of firmware, analysis of sof tware and firmware to understand the capabilities and performance of the system based on sof tware analysis. Basic Qualifications: * 2 years of experience with c ond ucting all-source S & TI research analysis and engineering
* 1 years of experience with sof tware design and development
* Experience with C and programming languages
* Experience with sof tware design and development, including sof tware disa ssemblers, debuggers, and reverse engineering applications
* Experience with performing in-depth te chn ical evaluations of foreign computer and network te chn ologies
* TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor's degree in EE, Computer Engineering, or CS Additional Qualifications: * 2 years of experience with sof tware and firmware code assembly, disa ssembly, reverse engineering, sof tware de-buggers, and diagnostic tools, including IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Kali Linux, and Metasploit
* Experience in programming with Field Programmable Gate Arrays ( FPGAs ) * Experience with Digital Signal Processing ( DSP ) design or modeling
* Experience with the analysis of Sof tware Defined Radios ( SDRs ) * Knowledge of military systems and computer network te chn ologies, designs, and programs
* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
