Job Number: R0196667 Program Manager, Director
Key Role: Deliver programmatic oversight and thought leadership to the delivery of large-scale system modernization efforts, including the transition of modernized systems to a production environment, and subsequent operations and maintenance (O&M) activities. Manage client relationships, by building rapport and directly interfacing with senior client technical and business executives. Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly program status briefings to a diverse audience of senior business and technical program stakeholders. Build a sustainable program management organization and oversee the activities of a team of 300-400 FTEs dispersed across the client site and one or more contractor and government site delivery locations. Oversee software development, quality assurance, transition, and O&M workstreams, ensuring that activities are coordinated to deliver optimal results to the customer. Employ effective risk management practices to proactively identify and mitigate key program risks. Serve as a primary interface with multiple internal business management departments, including finance, subcontracting, contracting, purchasing, and recruiting. Basic Qualifications: * 10 years of experience delivering executive leadership and oversight of integrated IT services programs and organizations that include the following functional areas: systems engineering, software development, system modernization, production rollout of new systems, and operations and maintenance * 10 years of experience in Federal Government program or project management * 5 years of experience interfacing with and presenting to C-level executives * Experience leading the modernization and successful rollout of at least one large-scale, mission critical system with 400 FTEs * Knowledge of modern systems development, cloud-native architectures cloud migration, and emerging technologies * Ability to assess and articulate business value of technology decisions to technical and non-technical business stakeholders alike * Ability to obtain a security clearance * Bachelor's degree * PMI PMP certification Additional Qualifications: * Experience implementing or adopting Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) principles to the execution of a software development initiative * Experience managing the operations of mission-critical systems in high availability operational environments * Master's degree preferred * PgMP certification preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $158,800.00 to $295,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
