The Opportunity: We're looking for a Linux systems administrator to be part of an Agile team supporting the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical systems. You'll perform systems administration responsibilities, including configuration, deployment, and management of RedHat-based operating systems and systems hardening. You'll review and provide updates to System Security Plans, and manage the IT system infrastructure, including virtualization, physical servers, or switches. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. You Have: * 15 years of experience with systems administration * Experience with RedHat Linux * Experience with Kickstart and PXE to stand up a server from scratch, including physical or Vendor Management ( VM ) * Experience with scripting languages * Experience with virtualization, including administering hypervisors and deploying and managing VMs * Experience with security scanning and patching with Nessus * Knowledge of network fundamentals, including VLANs, tru nk ing, or topologies * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph * Bachelor's degree in Te chn ology Nice If You Have: * Experience with racking and stacking physical servers, including cable management * Experience with Jira and Confluence * Experience with monitoring platforms, including Nagios, Ici nga , or Zabbit * Experience with Directory Services Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
