Booth Management Consulting is Hiring a Grants Specialist III Near Columbia, MD

Booth Management Consulting, LLC (BMC) is a diverse CPA firm providing accounting, auditing, and management consulting services to public and private clients nationwide. Position Requirements

  • Develop proposed grants policies and procedures for review by Government personnel; provides advice and guidance to grants personnel and individuals within OAG
  • Independently research Federal grant policy
  • Develops grants policies and procedures for Agency's review
  • Provide grants advice
  • Provide assistance in the development of Request for Applications and awards
  • Perform reviews of existing grants, requests for applications, amendments, funding, supporting document, financial and progress reports, and other documents related to the grants process
  • Review grant application
  • Review cost for allowability with federal guidelines
  • Review standard form 425 Federal Financial Reports (FFRs)
  • Provide assistance with the SSA grants process through data systems such as Grants Solution and grants.gov.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting; This degree requirement may be substituted for 15 years of experience in the field of Federal grants management carrying out moderately complex tasks related to the award and administration of Federal Government Grants
  • At least eight (8) years of experience carrying out moderately complex tasks related to the award and administration of Federal Government grants if education requirements are met, otherwise, at least 15 years of experience of experience in the field of Federal grants management carrying our moderately complex tasks related to the award and administration of Federal Government grants
  • Experience in reviewing standard form 425 Federal Financial Reports (FFRs) required
  • Experience in reviewing cost for allowability with federal guidelines preferred
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

**This position will require the individual to undergo a federal clearance process in order to work on this federal contract.
