As a member of our team, you’ll play a key role in providing quality home healthcare, where patients are able to remain independent at their place of residence in the healthiest and happiest state of being possible.
The Clinical Manager is a Registered Nurse (RN) who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing and is currently licensed to practice in the state of Indiana. The Clinical Manager supervises home health services to homebound patients in their place of residence in accordance with attending physician orders and plans of care and strives to provide the highest quality of care. All skilled nursing and other therapeutic services are under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Manager.
This role starts with a part-time and/or a per diem commitment* to treat a handful of patients at their residence (minimum ten) to set the path for licensing and accreditation for the agency during the first 9-months. Once accredited, there is the option to transition to a full-time employee with benefits. This is a great way to get ahead of the game in a growing home healthcare agency and become the Clinical Manager when fully operational. During the part-time employment period, patient visit hours are flexible between 9 am to 4 pm, not affecting your other jobs. The only commitment is to be physically present during the inspection from the accreditation agency. Also, during this period, you can look forward to flexible hours, extra cash, strong support, and competent backup staff.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Provide direct clinical supervision, performance evaluations, and disciplinary action of all assigned staff. Evaluate and ensure that competency requirements are met for all the staff.
  • Ensure and perform in-home supervisory visits with assigned team members. Ensure quality service.
  • Monitor staff assignments, caseloads, and team productivity. Promote efficient utilization of resources to achieve desired clinical outcomes and within episode reimbursement.
  • Support the coordination of interdisciplinary care.
  • Provide the Administrator with census, staffing, team productivity, and other reports as requested. Identify staffing patterns and needs of the assigned team.

What we’re looking for:
  • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
  • Registered Professional Nurse, a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing who is currently licensed as a registered nurse in Indiana.
  • Two (2) years’ experience as a RN with (2) two years in community health/home health program and maintain CPR certification while employed in a clinical role.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and daily operations of a home health agency is strongly desired. In-depth understanding of Medicare Conditions of Participation and payment mechanisms for home health.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills required.
