WHAT DOES A LINE COOK DO?
This food service position is part-time and has a flexible schedule.
As a Line Cook at our restaurant, you're responsible for preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner. Your job involves following recipes and presentation specifications to ensure that each dish meets our high standards for taste and appearance. You operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Attentive to detail, you clean and maintain your station in order to practice good safety and sanitation. Additionally, you assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen and our equipment, restocking items as needed throughout your shift. You're expected to adhere to all sanitation and food safety codes to ensure that our customers receive only the best quality food. You love preparing delicious food each day on the job!
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS LINE COOK JOB
- 1 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs.
