A Home Health Medical Records Clerk is a vital team member responsible for maintaining accurate and well-organized patient records within a home healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Record Management: Ensure the maintenance and updates of patient records, guaranteeing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently input patient information into electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Doctor's Orders Management: Organize and monitor doctor's orders within patient records, ensuring their timely implementation and proper documentation.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality, strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Communication: Collaborate effectively with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff to ensure precise documentation.
• Auditing: Conduct regular audits of patient records to uphold quality standards and compliance with regulations.
• Filing and Retrieval: Organize both physical and electronic records for easy retrieval when necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to the maintenance of medical records' quality through regular reviews and updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.31 - $23.25 per hour
