Bonnell's is Hiring a Quality Lab Technician Near Clearfield, UT

The Quality Technician will complete and maintain all internal testing within the Quality Lab. He or she will complete tensile testing, bend testing, crush testing and dimensional inspections for products that require it in our facility. The lab technician will be held accountable for maintaining the lab equipment and keeping up with production order testing. 

The technician must have basic knowledge of commonly used tools such as: calipers, micrometers, protractors, Go/No-Go gages, and tape measure. Must be willing to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated. Training and pre-established work instructions will be provided for all equipment to help facilitate the learning process.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Tensile, bend, and crush testing 
  • Creating customer specific material/dimensional reports.
  • Scheduling onsite tool calibrations (Instron Universal Testing Machine).
  • Collecting/analyzing samples.
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Oral and written communication.
  • General Knowledge of common tools. 
  • Hands on skills. 
  • Must be able to Interpret written instructions and able to read prints. 
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Ability to inspire others to work efficiently, defuse conflict and make good decisions.
  • Team player with leadership skills.

What You’ll Need to Have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience
  • Must pass company background check and drug screen
