Position Description:

The Technology Analyst primary role is to provide troubleshooting and resolution of assigned day-to-day IT cases relating to hardware, software, email, and onboarding/offboarding of employees.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills to clearly communicate with all organizational levels, external IT vendors and others in an open manner is required
• Set up Technology equipment (laptops, desktops, phones, iPads) and necessary peripheral devices (monitors, printers, etc.)
• Install and configure appropriate software according to specifications
• Follow established procedures for onboarding and offboarding tasks
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate software and computer equipment
• Troubleshoot day-to-day software and hardware issues for end users
• Assist with setting up new hires, both accounts and hardware
• Support the technology needs of employees in the offices and in the field
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and escalation where necessary
• Exhibit a collaborative, approachable work style with a strong customer service focus is necessary
• Able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
• Attention to detail and follow-through are essential
• Able to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and demonstrate flexibility regarding new software applications and technologies
• Facilitate and coordinate work with outside vendors and contractors

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience providing end user support

Experience with:

• Windows 10 and Windows 11 imaging and troubleshooting
• Hands-on Active Directory and Exchange account creation experience
• Troubleshooting basic networking issues
• Mobile OS, such as Apple’s iOS and Android on phones and tablets as well as Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management
• Microsoft Office 365
• Understanding of End User, Application and Hardware security
• A Certification a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – You will be directly communicating to our end users both in person and through electronic means
• Strong people skills are a must – ability to interface with both technical and non-technical team members
• The ability to recognize and react to situations with a sense of urgency and problem ownership
• Must be a team player focused on the success of your team as well as yourself

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., bending and be able to sit for extended periods of time
