**POSITION SUMMARY:**

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the Nursing Assistant works directly under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and performs personal care services and homemaker services for the patient according to the Home Health Aide Care Plan/Assignment.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

1. Must be at least 18 years old.

2. Must have a minimum of a twelfth-grade education.

3. Must achieve a satisfactory score on the required competency test

4. SC Certification as a nursing assistant required.

5. Would prefer at least six months to one year of work experience as a Nursing Assistant (preferably in the home setting).
