BOLT Motorsports is expanding and looking for a Social Media Specialist to work in our office in McKinney, Texas.

We are an automotive performance parts e-commerce company that is growing rapidly.

We’re seeking a multimedia specialist with previous experience working on a variety of social media campaigns and social channels.

An ideal candidate should have both graphic design abilities as well as video shooting and editing experience.

• Must be self-paced, good with people, and have a good understanding of basic design principles.
• We’re looking for someone with the ability to work collaboratively with our marketing team to increase both the quality and quantity of our content.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Repurposing raw video footage into short engaging social posts
• Video editing skills for social media content
• Conceptualize and plan video/photo content ideas from start to finish.
• Contribute to the overall company with new marketing ideas
• Ensure content production maintains a consistent design language that matches our brand guidelines
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously
• Work closely with media and marketing team
• Basic understanding of shooting video and photos with a phone for social content

Qualifications:

• 2-3 Years experience working in social media/marketing
• Knowledge of the car culture (preferred)
• Meet or exceed content output requirements
• Familiarity with video editing
• Adobe Illustrator, In-design and Photoshop experience
• Desire for learning additional skills and different processes to achieve goals.
• Professional appearance and strong communication

Physical Requirements:

Be able to sit at a desk for extended periods

Ability to walk around and shoot video/photo content

Efficiently navigate a PC computer

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, 1 hour lunch break

Infrequent weekend work required for special Race Event Weekends maybe 2X per year
