Responsibilities will include Managing the air, water, and dredge permits in addition to handling, storage and disposal of waste to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities will also include the training, data collection, on-site inspections and coordination of the facility's emergency response programs.
*Candidate must have at least two (2) years of experience in performing environmental field functions within an industrial setting.
*Knowledge of general environmental practices and procedures.
*Capable of monitoring/controlling environmental procedures on-site.
*Must be proficient in using MS Office applications.
*Oracle experience is a plus.
*Bachelor of Science in a science-oriented curriculum in addition to experience in a shipyard setting is a plus.
