The app gives users video lessons from Hollywood accent coaches and instant feedback from speech AI. Founded by immigrants who have felt the pain of being misunderstood or overlooked due to their accents, our mission is to empower every non-native English speaker to speak with their clearest, boldest voice. Today, BoldVoice is one of the top Education apps on the App Store and serves non-native speakers of 100 different language backgrounds all over the world.
We are looking for a scrappy and driven Business Ops Associate to join our small team. This is a “jack of all trades” role that will own key cross-functional projects, from content production to data analysis to customer support. This is an excellent opportunity to be an instrumental player across the company’s functions and make your mark on a fast-growing startup.
About You

• You work hard with low ego. Behind the glamorous Forbes articles, there are late hours and a fair amount of grunt work. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and do everything that it takes to help the team succeed: no task is too big or small.
• You have an entrepreneurial / ownership mindset. Startups are chaotic and ambiguous – you are able to figure out what needs to be done with minimal supervision, and deliver results that raise the bar.
• You have excellent organizational skills. This role will involve managing many projects and coordinating many stakeholders. You are able to manage this efficiently and smartly, so that we deliver results quickly.
• You are analytical. You can work with a spreadsheet and can quickly turn data into insights and solutions.
• You want to work at an early-stage startup. If you can see yourself being a founder one day, and are excited to get your hands dirty with what it takes to build a company from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Content Operations: You will manage the operations related to our content library and lessons, including the video production processes and QA of our learning material.
• Data Analysis: You will analyze business and user behavior data to help inform decisions.
• Customer Support: You will manage and improve the customer support processes related to ensure we deliver an excellent customer support experience.
• Operations: You will assist with various internal operations projects, related to finance, product research, partnerships, etc. as needed.

QualificationsNew grads welcome to apply! A few things that will make you stand out:

• BA or MBA (preferred) from a top-tier university
• Some experience in startups or entrepreneurial initiatives
• Requirement to be based in New York and work out of our office -- we work remotely ~1 day/week
