Field Team Leader: To monitor and enhance field performance of assigned Service Engineers and Apprentices.

Essential Duties:

• General Service Engineer duties as assigned.

• Interface with assigned Service Team Leader (STL), Service Coordinators, and Service Manager to ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled on a monthly basis (monthly and annual contractual, daily time call in).

• Actively work with STL to ensure the highest Service Engineer/ Apprentice performance.

• Assist STL to monitor assigned major work on a daily basis for timely completion.

• Perform annual reviews with STL of assigned team.

• As assigned process, Trane warranty service work to maximize profitability.

• As assigned research HUB for Trane updates bulletins, etc.

• Development and training of assigned team.

• Ensuring safety procedures are followed by field staff.

• Partner with the STL and facilitate regular Team Meetings.

• Flexibility to work outside normal working hours and weekends as required.

• Manages several subordinate supervisors in the Service Operations process. Is responsible for the overall direction/ coordination/ and evaluation of this unit.

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

• Responsibilities include interviewing/ hiring/ and training employees; planning/ assigning/ and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems

• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC and service experience

• Proficient with air conditioning equipment and critical client experience

• Must have minimum one Journeyman license within MD, DC, VA and must have all three within six months of hire

• Valid driver's license and excellent driving record required

• Strong communication skills, technically proficient, involved leader, multi-tasker, detailed, self-starter, able to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely drive commercial van loaded with tools in busy DC traffic

• Frequent visits to job sites

• Ability to climb ladders, bend and kneel for extended periods of time

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a frequent basis

• Being able to work indoor and outdoor through all seasonal changes
