The Teaching, Learning, & Community Engagement Department (TLCE) in the College of Education at Boise State University invites applications for the position of clinical instructor in math education. Boise State University is a Doctoral Research University pioneering an innovative model that emphasizes rigorous research and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduate and graduate students. TLCE is searching for dynamic educators committed to preparing and supporting educators, while collaborating with colleagues.
Position Overview
TLCE is searching for a clinical instructor who has expertise and experience in mathematics teacher education. Clinical faculty in our department are currently responsible for teaching four (4) courses during the Fall and Spring semesters (i.e., a 4/4 teaching load) engaging in a combination of instruction and clinical supervision. We are especially interested in applicants committed to growing our undergraduate, masters, specialist, or doctoral level programs in collaboration with other dedicated faculty. We also seek a colleague who is committed to collaboration across department and college programs with the aim of expanding access to those programs for students from a multitude of different backgrounds and places.

Salary and benefits
