Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Take Inventory and keep the system updated daily
  2. Receive and Tag parts
  3. Run errands when needed (pickup parts from nearby vendors)
  4. Always keep work area clean and organized (including stockroom shelves)
  5. Follow Company policies, procedures and safety rules

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  2. Computer experience is needed Microsoft Excel and Word.
  3. Must hold a valid state driver's license
  4. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  5. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions

Additional Information

The work schedule (both days and hours) may vary and is subject to change based upon facility needs. The hours an employee will be expected to work to complete the duties of this job are 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Holiday and weekend work may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The facility is a large factory that produces plywood. It is a heavy manufacturing environment in which employees are routinely exposed to moving mechanical equipment, heat, vibration, noise and outside weather conditions.

Safety Glasses and ear plugs are required to be worn by all employees. Job specific personal protective equipment is required for each position.
