Purpose & Summary:

Maintain, prepare, and process payroll for organization personnel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll, provide timely and accurate financial information, participate in daily data entry into Payroll processing software 
• Perform daily payroll department operations 
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely 
• Reconcile payroll prior to processing our outsourced payroll vendor and validate confirmed reports 
• Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits 
• Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance 
• Perform other payroll related duties including but not limited to assisting with employee requests, reprints, reports for different departments as needed, and processing of accurate and year-end reporting when necessary (W2,etc) 
• Maintain personal health and sanitation standards 
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety codes per BP's guidelines 
• Ensure compliance with BP’s code of ethics, integrity and conduct 
• Other duties as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience processing multi-state payroll 
• Working knowledge of payroll best practices and strong knowledge of federal and state regulations 
• Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills 
• High degree of professionalism including ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information 
• Able to multitask and work in a team environment 
• Must be proficient in computer knowledge including MS Office Suite products, Paylocity (preferred), or other outsourced payroll software 
• High School diploma preferred
• All candidates are subject to a background check and employment verification process 

Physical demands:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk.
• Ability to bend and lift occasionally.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.

Work environment:

• Work will be conducted in a restaurant environment.
• May encounter temperatures ranging from 32 degrees to 425 degrees around equipment in the kitchen if needed to enter that area.
• May occasionally walk on slippery surfaces.
• Noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
