Job Summary

Bohannan Huston is currently seeking a full-time experienced Professional Land Surveyor to work in our Denver, CO office.

As a Professional Land Surveyor in our Survey Technologies group, you would be involved in numerous tasks that include project scoping and estimating, Boundary Surveys - Right-of-Way, Boundary, and ALTAs, Advanced Geodetic Surveys, Engineering Surveys - topographic mapping and location surveys, GIS surveys, manage field crews, manage projects and budgets.

You would use and stretch your professional and personal skills. We work on interesting projects, of all sizes, and all over the Southwest. We use state-of-the-art surveying equipment and technologies, and our survey team is seasoned, experienced, and committed to quality and professionalism.

WHO YOU ARE

• Must hold a current Professional Surveyor license in the state of Colorado or be able to sit for the CO PLS exam within six months of hire date.
• You have a 4-Year Degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Geomatics or related field from an accredited institution.
• You have 2 to 5 years of demonstrated surveying experience.
• You have advanced Geodetic and Boundary surveying skills.
• You have experience with GPS and Total Station surveying tools, preferred.
• You have experience with aerial or mobile LiDAR platforms and software, preferred.
• You have strong technical skills, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS platforms, database environments.
• You have the ability to work independently, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You have the ability to manage field crews, projects and budgets.

• You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn and grow.
