Job Summary

Bohannan Huston is currently seeking a full-time Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our Structures Engineering Group in our Albuquerque, NM office.

As an engineer in training (EI) in the Structures Engineering group, you would likely be involved in numerous tasks that could include participating on a project team to develop and produce construction plan and specification document sets for public and commercial structures, preparing design elements including gravity and lateral systems, and structural components for vertical and civil infrastructure, and other duties to include structural construction observation, and coordinating with clients, architects and engineers throughout the project cycle.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have your Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus with at least a 3.0 GPA , and have shown a commitment to academic focus, leadership and delivering high quality solutions and products.
• You have earned your EI certification .
• You are a self-starter with 0-3 years' experience in Structural Engineering.
• You must be able to obtain a Security Clearance, and as such, US Citizenship is required.
• You are working towards obtaining PE licensure.
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• You are determined, organized, efficient, and detail oriented.
• You are customer focused.
• You have an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to learn and grow.
• You welcome feedback and find ways to do your work better.
• You have experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• You are eager to make your work more efficient by learning and mastering various engineering technologies.
