Boeing Intelligence & Analytics is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team at New Providence, New Jersey.

What you will do (day in the life): 

• Writes and edits promotional materials and technical documentation for internal and external customers.
• Provides technical accuracy, compliance and
• completeness of content.
• Organizes configuration of text and art. Writes, edits and proofreads technical, proposal and promotional text and artwork.
• Identifies and applies applicable standards to documentation. Conducts reviews with customers and coordinates projects to successful conclusion.
• Verifies consistency and clarity of communication. Develops concepts and proposals for new content management.
• Negotiates approaches to content structure and design. Determines content requirement for regulatory treatment, coordination or approval.
• Design and create interactive computer-based trainings
• Analyzes, interprets and develops new, innovative communications solutions for customers. Leads writing and editing production.
• Defines content organization, nomenclature and navigation systems for multifaceted projects.
• Provides expertise related to emerging trends and technology in the writing industry.
• Develops concepts and proposals for new content management delivery systems, processes and technological advances.
• Provides guidance on message development content, strategy and tools.
• Identifies and recommends high-level communication solutions and key message strategies.

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelors Degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience(or Masters Degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Should have a working knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with creating Web pages to support online help center.
• Should be able to debug HTML and Javascript from a browser.
• Expertise with writing technical marketing collateral, including articles, white papers, graphics and logos.
• Should have a working knowledge of InDesign.
• Familiarity with extracting implementation measurements and interaction requirements from designs
• Familiarity with big data concepts, cloud technologies such as AWS and Oracle.
• Must be able to work in a collaborative work environment.
• Enthusiastic about teamwork and collective ownership.
