Opportunity for advancement within the Auto Group
Responsibilities – Parts Advisor:
Work with all parts vendors to organize receiving, distribution, and storage of all parts inside the Collision Center
Verify physical part numbers to invoices and check-in vendor’s copy of all invoices
Mark all parts received, each corresponding line on the Parts Worksheet with a highlighter as the parts are received
Verify all parts are correct by mirror matching with damaged parts to ensure that the parts are correct & accurate
Order supplemental parts per shop’s Collision Parts Ordering Procedure
Assist all technicians with parts issues to ensure on time delivery and reduced repair cycle times
Advise Management when wrong or damaged parts are received for work in progress and provide new ETA
Remove all parts from shipping cartons & check for damage
Maintain clean and orderly Parts Staging areas consistent with Operational Process
Other projects as assigned by the BodyWerks Parts Manager
Qualifications/Requirements – Parts Advisor:
Previous Auto Parts Department, Retail, or Body Shop Parts Department experience required
Basic understanding of automotive components and systems
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
Must be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
