We are currently interviewing for Manufacturing Equipment Technicians Andover, MA.

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Monday - Friday

Bodycote is offering a $1500 sign-on bonus!

The Manufacturing Technician’s responsibilities include:

Operating drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes, rollers, hydraulic shears, air tools and a variety of machine shop equipment and hand tools.
Being responsible for all equipment, supplies, and inventories associated with the department and machine shop.
Maintaining daily communication with management to review the priorities set forth within the department.
Practicing and promoting safety and good housekeeping.
Estimating material needed and recommending supplies and inventory to be ordered.
Performing other tasks as assigned or dictated by position

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
Experience in a machine shop and understanding of basic math skills.
Specialized knowledge should include the operation of drill presses, power saws, grinders, metal lathes, rollers, hydraulic shears, air tools and a variety of hand tools.
May be required to work overtime or any shift, including weekends
Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification
Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and communicate the English language
