We are currently interviewing for Control Technician 2nd shift in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday - Friday.

Bodycote is offering a $1000 sign-on retention bonus!

Bodycote offers:

Starting wages are $19.00 to $23.00 depending on experience.

As a skilled Control Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with production control functions under limited supervision.
In addition you will:

Operates, controls and monitors heat treating equipment.
Follows written procedures on shop traveler and/or customer paperwork.
Prepares work/loads for processing.
Loads and unloads furnaces, bins, fixtures, baskets, etc.
Brings any irregularity to foreman or management.
Promotes safety and good housekeeping practices.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
Must have good knowledge by experience or training of basic math and computer applications.
Education – High school diploma or equivalent plus one year to three years’ experience of equivalent/relevant work experience.
Knowledge and hands on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is required.
Must be able to work overtime as needed/required.
Must maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times as determined by the company
Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive feedback.
