Contractor Health Provider:

We are looking for a Health Provider to be responsible for assisting veterans seeking to gain service connection for their disability with the VA disability compensation system, many will need to undergo a Compensation and Pension (C&P) exam / Disability Benefits Questionnaire. The VA uses these exams to evaluate the veteran’s impairment to determine (1) if the veteran’s condition is service connected and (2) the severity of the impairment for schedular disability rating purposes.

You should demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Health Provider Responsibilities:

• Interviewing and examining
• Review patients' medical histories and records pertaining to disability claims

Health Provider Requirements:

• At least a master's degree from an accredited program in your field .
• Clinical training experience, and the willingness to complete 100 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain certification.
• A state license to practice medicine and board-certified by appropriate medical governing board.
• Authorization by appropriate governing board to practice in family health or a provider generalist in the state where employed. 
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.

• Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy.
