Body One Physical Therapy is a privately-owned, Indianapolis-based, outpatient physical therapy company. Body One Physical Therapy has 3 locations on the northside of Indianapolis. This position will join our corporate office staff in the North Meridian location. Position Overview

Body One Physical Therapy is looking for a part-time bookkeeper to assist with its daily postings, internal audit, reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements. The bookkeeper will also help support the administrative duties that accompany the accounting function. Expected hours are 12-15 hours/week with a very flexible schedule within normal hours of 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday. This is an ideal position for a student or someone looking to re-enter the workforce on a part-time basis.

Additional hours would be available to the ideal candidate (PRN) willing to cross train and work in the front office.

Desired Qualifications 

The bookkeeper candidate should have an Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience as well as knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. The candidate should be very detail oriented.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Bank deposits
• Daily deposit and payment reconciliation
• Revenue and expense allocation
• Daily journal entries related to the above
• Other bookkeeping activities
• Support audit/review activities as needed
• Document and/or update procedures related to all of the above

• File maintenance
• Document Scanning
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
• Other duties as assigned

 Job Type: Part-time, flexible hours

Salary: $16-17/hour
