Job purpose

Packaging Team is responsible for packaging all products for distribution along with assembling all packaging.

Duties and responsibilities

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met.
• Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using Strain Stickers Provided by Manager.
• Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders.
• Gram products into Designated containers for each product line, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.
• Make the packaging floor supervisor aware of any irregularities.
• Clean containers, materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Understanding of production and the process of preparing product for retail, and general product knowledge.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and self-motivation.
• Oral & written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and presentation required.
• General understanding of the function and operation of packaging, shipping & receiving processes at Bodhi High.
• Knowledge and understanding of i502 laws and regulation to ensure compliance.

Working conditions

Work is done in a warehouse setting with some office work. Temperatures are cool.

Physical requirements

This job requires some heavy lifting, standing, bending and moving with urgency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
