Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Route Driver to join our team. As a Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering goods to store shelves. This position requires excellent driving skills, the ability to load and unload cargo, and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a commercial vehicle (box truck) to deliver goods to designated locations

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment

- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries

- Communicate in a professional and friendly manner

- Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Route Driver or similar role

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Ability to operate box truck

- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
